Strabane search: Body of man is recovered from river

The body of a man in his 60s has been found in a river in Strabane, County Tyrone.

Flood response teams from Londonderry recovered the body at 18:30 BST on Tuesday.

It was found in the Mourne River near Strabane golf club.

Robbie Bryson of the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the death appeared to be accidental. He said seven units attended the scene.

The police and ambulance service were also in attendance.
