Wednesbury hit-and-run crash death suspect arrested

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a West Midlands teenager in a hit-and-run crash.

Adam Jones, 15, from Wednesbury, died when he was hit by a car while crossing a road in West Bromwich, on 26 March.

He was flung into the windscreen and pronounced dead shortly after the crash at about 19:30 BST. The driver ran from the scene, police said.

Police said a 23-year-old man had been arrested and has been released on police bail.
