Two people suspected of murdering five-month-old girl

Version 0 of 1. Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a five-month-old baby. The girl was taken to hospital from an address in Perry Barr, Birmingham, early on Wednesday after reportedly having breathing difficulties. A West Midlands police spokesman said a 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman had been arrested on suspicion of murder after the baby died on Wednesday afternoon. The spokesman said officers were called shortly before 1am on Wednesday. A postmortem examination is due to take place later on Thursday. |
