The death toll in the explosion of a gasoline tanker truck in southeastern Mexico rose to 14 on Tuesday. Fernando Valenzuela Pernas, the Tabasco State prosecutor, said that after the truck crashed Thursday, people broke through the police perimeter and then chased off firefighters so they could steal gasoline. But investigators have found no evidence that someone intentionally ignited the gasoline, he said.
