Man dies after traffic accident

A man has died following a road accident in County Londonderry.

The incident happened at Legavallon Road near Dungiven at about 0745 GMT on Tuesday.

The man was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital in Londonderry, where he later died.

Police said the road had been closed for a follow-up investigation. Detectives at Limavady are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
