Version 0 of 1.

Speculation is growing that the SDLP is going to vote against the budget in the assembly on Tuesday.

Sources say because of changes to the ministerial code its sole minister Margaret Ritchie has no choice but to vote with her Executive colleagues.

However, that is not binding on the Assembly party.

Among the reasons for their opposition are unknowns over water reform; lack of mention of post-primary school reform and the health budget.

They are also thought to be concerned by the lack of a children's fund.

Sources have said the party has no intention of pulling out of the executive.

The Alliance Party is also expected to vote against the budget on Tuesday.
