He told the court all they took was an Oyster card travel pass, his bank cards, driving licence and mobile phone. He said a trail of blood and belongings along Bathurst Gardens suggested Mr ap Rhys Pryce was trying to get to his home as the attack continued.
Mr Horwell alleged Mr Carty and Mr Brown had attacked another man, Kurshid Ali, in the station 20 minutes earlier. Jurors were told the scene seemed to indicate the attack began outside number 56.
The police later discovered the defendants were members of a gang who stabbed two victims during the course of robberies three weeks before, Mr Horwell told the court. Outside number 90, Mr ap Rhys Pryce had collapsed.
The jury was shown CCTV footage showing Mr Ali being robbed on a platform. He was only feet away from the home he shared with his fiance Adele Eastman at 122.
Mr Horwell also showed the jury CCTV footage of a man being attacked and robbed by a gang on a Tube train in Burnt Oak, north-west London, three weeks before. Mr Horwell told the court the attackers took an Oyster card travel pass, bank cards, driving licence and mobile phone from the victim.
He said the two defendants were part of the gang.
