Man and woman charged over death

A 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a West Lothian man in December.

Ian Thomson, 56, died following an incident at his home in Fauldhouse.

He was taken to St John's hospital in Livingston, but died of his extensive injuries five days later.

Police launched an investigation, which led to the arrests. Both the man and woman are expected to appear at Linlithgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
