A grandmother and three 17-year-olds killed in tragic two-car crash in Wales have been named. Emotional tributes have flooded in for three 17-year-olds described as "talented young boys" and "our beautiful princess" killed in a tragic crash on a Brecon Beacons crash
The three teenagers have been named locally as Corey Price, Rhodri Miller and his girlfriend Alesha O-Connor. The three teenagers killed after a crash on a notorious racing road on the Breacon Beacons have been named locally as Corey Price, Rhodri Miller and his girlfriend Alesha O'Connor, all 17 years old.
Police named the other person who died as Margaret Elizabeth Challis, a 68-year-old grandmother from the Merthyr area. Rhodri Miller, the 17-year-old driving the car during a collision in Wales Driver Rhodri, a talented footballer who had trained with Cardiff City's Football Academy, is believed to have passed his test earlier that week and was said to be going on a "cruise" in a convoy of six cars when he was involved in a head-on collision.
Driver Rhodri, who had only just passed his driving test, was a promising young footballer who played with the Cardiff City Football Academy. All three are believed to be from Barry. A tweet sent to Rhodri on social media congratulates him on passing his test just a day before the crash. There's been a flood of tributes to the young people killed.
There's been an outpouring of sentiment for the three teenagers on social media. Alesha's parents paid tribute to "our beautiful little princess", reports Walesonline, describing her as "a kind, loving child".
"She was much loved by all her extended family. She was the perfect daughter and friend and has left a massive void in our family.
"Alesha was beautiful, intelligent and artistic and had her whole life ahead of her.
"We as a family would like to pass on our sympathy to the other families who have lost loved ones," they added.
Alesha O'Connor, the girlfriend of driver Rhodri Miller, killed in a fatal car crash in Wales Rhodri's parents described him as “a bright, talented 17 year old who had so much to live for," reports Walesonline.
Corey's "devastated" family said "no words can explain how we are feeling", teliling Walesonline he was "a gentle and caring son, brother, uncle and grandson".
The boys went to Ysgol Bro Morgannwg school  and head teacher Dylan Jones said both boys were very talented in their own way, Corey in football and Rhodri in science.
He told the BBC he had spoken to the families on the phone. "Very devastating. It's been a shock to us all, and a number of their friends also are feeling the shock," he said
Mr Jones added: "They're remembered as sociable and jolly, and a little mischievous, I'm sure, both of them, but on Monday we will come together to share those thoughts, and be able to reflect on their lives, and hopefully celebrate their lives, tomorrow morning."
