Granted, it was done for the publicity, but Kanye West’s collaboration with Adidas Originals, which bore the oddly wearable (if a little moccasin-y) Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost, has seen the polymathic grump go out of his way on the public appearance front. From chicken pittas at Nando’s to the Brits with Skepta and Novelist and all the way to the Adidas Originals flagship store on Carnaby Street West made a tour of London.

At the Adidas store, he appeared to fit some keen boys in caps, carry shoeboxes and generally muck in, looking pretty low-key in his Adidas sweater and Sorel-y winter boots. Because “everybody who wants to get Yeezys will get Yeezys”. It’s not the first example of a celebrity shop assistant (see Brooklyn Beckham working in a coffee shop and weep) but hell, at least this one’s smiling.
