More than 80 people escaped from the Penhallow Hotel blaze in Newquay on 18 August last year, but three guests, all from Staffordshire, lost their lives. Police said on Wednesday that they had arrested two men, aged 44 and 21, in connection with the blaze at the Penhallow Hotel in Newquay last August.
Police confirmed on Tuesday they were treating the deaths as murder. The men are being detained at a police station in Cornwall.
