A search is under way for a father and his 10-year-old daughter who are lost in fog on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. A father and his 10-year-old daughter who were lost in fog on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall have been found safe.

Police said they were optimistic the pair would be found as they could hear sirens being sounded and are reported to be well-dressed for the weather. Cornwall Search and Rescue and a local farmer were called to help in the search for the pair.
A local farmer is helping police in the search efforts. They were tracked down about two hours later by a police dog handler and were reported to be in good health.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said they would be assessing the risk as the situation continued and were ready to call out the Cornwall Rescue Service. Police used sirens as a guide locator for the pair during the search.
The Met Office were forecasting a mild night with light rain and extensive hill fog over hills and moors. They were well-dressed for the weather.
