The Six Nations rugby match between Wales and England will be a "real test" for the transport network, Welsh Secretary Stephen Crabb has said.

Extra trains were being laid on as thousands of fans were flocking to Cardiff for the Friday night match.

Mr Crabb said rail investment was "crucial" to the economy as he visited Network Rail's centre in the city.

UK ministers are funding Swansea-London mainline electrification and almost half the cost of Valley line upgrades.
