A man has died after a road accident outside Magherafelt in County Londonderry. An elderly man has died after a road accident outside Magherafelt in County Londonderry.
It is thought the crash happened on the Aughrim Road just before 2230 GMT on Thursday. The 82-year-old was killed when two cars collided on the Aughrim Road just before 2230 GMT on Thursday.

The road is still closed affecting traffic on the Drennan road, River Road and Balliesmills Road. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
