Three men have been charged with making and possessing indecent images of children.Three men have been charged with making and possessing indecent images of children.
They were among 10 men arrested on Tuesday by detectives working on an international investigation into child abuse. One of the men, 36-year-old Rodney Albert Smyth from Killeen Avenue in Bangor, appeared in court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody.
Houses were searched in the greater Belfast, Larne, North Down and Mid-Ulster areas. The other two men are due in court in Belfast and Larne next month.
Four other men are still being questioned, while three men have been released on bail. It follows the arrest of ten men from Northern Ireland on Tuesday in an operation which was part of an international investigation.
