Wales snow warning: Met Office warns 10cm could fall Wales weather: Snow falls amid 'yellow' warning

Up to 10cm of snow could fall across many parts of Wales, the Met Office has warned. Snow has started falling in many parts of Wales, as forecasters issued a yellow "be aware" warning.
Forecasters issued a yellow "be aware" warning on Friday and said even low-lying areas could see significant snowfall. The Met Office said up to 15cm could fall on Friday evening and overnight.
The Met Office said half of the UK will be affected by the severe weather before clearing overnight. Parts of Wrexham and Flintshire have seen snowfall and councils have dispatched gritters to treat roads ahead of what is expected to be a very cold night.
People travelling have been advised to expect disruption, with roads expected to turn icy during the day. Temperatures are expected to dip below freezing in some rural parts and drivers have been advised to take care.
