A Tibetan monk died Tuesday after setting himself on fire near his monastery in Sichuan Province, Tibetan exile and advocacy groups said Wednesday. It was the third fatal self-immolation in Tibetan parts of China in less than two weeks. The monk, Kalsang Yeshi, 37, took his life in front of a police station that had been set up to monitor activity at his monastery in Dawu County, in Kardze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the organization Free Tibet said.
