Villagers living near the Queen's Sandringham estate had the chance to see the football skills of Prince Harry during a Christmas Eve match.

The Prince is spending part of the festive period in Norfolk with other members of the Royal Family.

He played in the annual fixture with Prince William last year for the estate workers' team who took on villagers from Castle Rising.

But this year he was not joined by his brother.

The Duke of Cambridge is enjoying the festive break at his home in nearby Anmer Hall.

Prince Harry was a key member of the winning team, making tackles and getting involved in the action.

Wearing a yellow and black strip, the prince looked at ease among the other players.
