Analysis, Brian Meechan BBC Wales business correspondent
Mabey Bridge is a big name in the construction industry, particularly here in Wales.
It is a company that has been expanding; it has been looking at different areas, taking on different work.
It had a big contract in Scotland with wind power operator Vattenfall, which is building a much bigger 76-turbine site in Neath Port Talbot, so the potential there was for a lot of business, so this has shocked people in the construction sector.
