Halifax pair questioned over death of baby girl

Two people have been arrested over the death of a baby girl in Calderdale.

A 19-year-old man and a 25-year old woman have been questioned on suspicion of child neglect and assault.

The two-month-old infant was found with serious injuries at an address in Halifax on 2 December.

She was treated at the scene by ambulance staff but died a short time later in hospital. West Yorkshire Police have now released the pair on bail.
