Police called to Britney's house Britney stretchered out of home
(about 2 hours later)
Police have been called to Britney Spears' home in a dispute involving her children, officers have said. Britney Spears has been carried out of her home on a stretcher and taken into custody after police were called in a dispute involving her children.
The call involved a "family custodial dispute that we are trying to resolve peacefully by court order", according to police spokesman Jason Lee. "While officers were at Britney's home they found that Britney appeared under the influence of an unknown substance," officer Jason Lee told the BBC.
Officers were called to the house at 2000 local time (0400 GMT) and no injuries were reported. "She is being taken into custody for evaluation," he added.
