Dominic Michael Abdul Hughes, of Amlwch, appeared before Llangefni Magistrates' Court. | |
He was charged after North Wales Police were called to a house in Craig y Don, Amlwch, at 0140 GMT on New Year's Day. | |
A 53-year-old man, taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor following the incident, is in a critical but stable condition. | |
No application was made for bail and Mr Hughes will appear before Caernarfon Crown Court on 11 January. |
