Another yellow gales alert is in place for the whole of Wales over Thursday evening and into Friday. Drivers of HGVs and caravans are being advised not to cross the A55 Britannia Bridge onto Anglesey.
Lorry and HGV drivers using the A55 Britannia Bridge onto Anglesey on Wednesday have been warned to expect the bridge to be closed to high-sided vehicles until Thursday morning. North Wales Police said anyone choosing not to cross the bridge westbound should leave at junction 11 where they would be directed to rest facilities.
They advised those coming from the ferry at Holyhead who did not want to cross the bridge to remain at the Holyhead port facilities.
