Exclusive trailer: Black Mirror Christmas special, starring Jon Hamm

Version 0 of 1. “What do you want for Christmas?” asks the new trailer for Black Mirror, which gets its first seasonal special this year in the form of a one-off episode, White Christmas. This is Black Mirror, of course, a show which has portrayed a blue cartoon campaigning for parliament and a Prime Minister engaged in certain acts with a pig, so the answer does not appear to be straightforward. Mad Men’s Jon Hamm takes the lead as Matt, while Rafe Spall plays Potter, his companion. The two are holed up in a mysterious snowy outpost and attempt to figure each other out with stories of their past lives. It’s a very 2014 tale, with pick-up artists, real-life ‘blocking’ and the perils of smart gadgets all woven into the plot. “Be careful what you wish for,” it warns.
