The 60-year-old, from Lancaster, who has not yet been named, was walking with his son at Sharp Edge on Blencathra on Sunday. Alan Sharples, 60, from Lancaster, is thought to have lost his footing at Sharp Edge on Blencathra, north of the A66 between Penrith and Keswick.
