A brother and sister have died in a road traffic accident involving two vehicles in County Fermanagh. The brother and sister who died in a car crash in County Fermanagh on New Year's Eve were Thomas Maughan, 16, and his 21-year-old sister, Siobhan.
It happened on the Irvinestown Road on the outskirts of Enniskillen at about 0930 GMT on Monday. They had travelled from England to attend their grandmother's funeral and were on the way to the Mass in Irvinestown when the accident happened.
The siblings, who were in their late teens or early 20s, died at the scene. The driver of the other car is being treated in hospital for back injuries. Their car was in collision with another car on Irvinestown Road, Enniskillen, at 0930 GMT on Monday.
Heavy rain at the time had led to poor driving conditions. Accidents on NI's roads have claimed 112 lives in 2007. They died at the scene. The driver of the other car suffered back injuries.
