A friend of Goldberg, David Osborne, who narrowly missed being in the synagogue at the time of the attack, told the British website: “Avraham prayed there most days for the last 10 years or so, he was a devout Jew with no political agenda. All he wanted was to live a peaceful life. His family are the nicest people you could meet. Also killed in the same attack were Aryeh Kupinsky, 43, and Kalman Zeev Levine, 55, who neighbours said prayed regularly at the Bnei Torah synagogue, which was near his home.
