Smelled smoke
The children were thrown to safety by a male resident of the house.
Tayside Fire and Rescue Service said one of the children had been taken to Ninewells Hospital by a family member.
However, the child is not believed to be seriously injured.
The occupants were alerted by a neighbour, who smelled smoke and went to investigate.
Tayside Police and Tayside Fire and Rescue Service have launched a joint investigation.
