Six found shot dead near Seattle

Six people have been found dead at a rural home near the western US city of Seattle in Washington State.

The victims - who included two children - died on Christmas Eve, most likely from gunshot wounds, a police spokesman told reporters.

A man and woman who arrived at the house while investigators were examining the crime scene were arrested, the spokesman added.

The suspects have not been named, but police say they knew the victims.

The bodies were found in Carnation, Washington. Police say they believe the victims were three generations of the same family.
