Man held after woman found dead

A man has been arrested after the body of a woman was found at a house in Ramsgate, Kent.

Police were called to the address in Conyngham Close at about 1300 GMT on Christmas Day.

The death of the 62-year-old woman is being treated as suspicious, a spokesman for the Kent force said. The woman has not yet been identified.

He said a man, aged 24, was arrested. No further details are being released yet about how the woman died.
