The lead singer of Irish band The Cranberries is under arrest in hospital following an alleged attack on an air hostess and a policeman on a US flight. Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan has been discharged from hospital and released without charge from custody by Irish police.
Dolores O'Riordan was detained after an air hostess was reportedly attacked on an Aer Lingus flight from New York to Shannon, County Clare, on Monday. She had been arrested on Monday following an alleged air rage incident on a flight from the United States.
Police boarded the aircraft at Shannon and during the course of the arrest, a policeman was also assaulted. Ms O'Riordan was detained after an air hostess was reportedly attacked on an Aer Lingus flight from New York to Shannon, County Clare.
Ms O'Riordan has been taken to hospital in Limerick but remains under arrest. Irish police said investigations were continuing.
