Dare, who is serving a 20-month sentence for a burglary committed in 2010, is believed to be in Birmingham.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "Dare, who we believe may be in the Birmingham area, is considered to be a risk to the public so we'd advise anyone who sees him not to approach him, but to call 999 immediately."

Police are also hunting convicted murderer Daniel Shankly, 30, and 29-year-old Daniel Wynne who are believed to have vanished together from Leyhill on 25 October.
