Searches have resumed at a blaze-damaged fireworks warehouse in Stafford where two bodies were discovered. Two men killed in a fireworks warehouse blaze in Stafford have been named.
A huge fire ripped through the SP Plastics industrial unit on the Baswich Estate on Thursday evening. The men's bodies were found the following day. The bodies of Simon Hillier, 41, and 57-year-old Stewart Staples were found on Friday, a day after a huge fire ripped through the SP Plastics industrial unit on the Baswich Estate.
Two men were also injured in the blaze and one is said to be in a critical condition with serious burns. The men, both from Hednesford, will not be formally identified for some weeks, say police, but there is evidence to place both of them at the scene.
Police think Mr Hillier was working at the site and Mr Staples was a customer.

Supt Ian Coxhead, of Staffordshire Police, said: "Sadly, our inquiries have placed both men at the scene when the fire started.
"Our sympathies remain with the families involved and we're doing everything we can to help them at this distressing time.

The dead men have not yet been named but their families have been told.
