Arsenal's managing director Keith Edelman admitted the Premier League leaders would have preferred an easier tie. "That's achievable because we have plenty of young players who are improving, as we saw against Blackburn in the Carling Cup.
"It's going to be a great match, very exciting," he said. "It's an exciting draw. If you look at last season's results then it's the hardest draw because they are the champions.
"We've only played them once in a competitive match in 1994 (the European Super Cup). We drew at Highbury and lost at Milan so we can hopefully turn that round. "It's a big challenge but if you ask me do we have a chance to knock them out then I say 'yes'.
