Police were called to Middlesex University, Greyhound Hill, Hendon, at 01:10 GMT, following reports of a fight. | |
Officers found a 22-year-old man with serious injuries, who was taken by ambulance to a west London hospital. | |
The victim, not believed to be a student, died a short time later. His family has been informed. No arrests have been made. | |
Police are awaiting formal identification and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out, Scotland Yard said. | |
A Middlesex University spokeswoman said: "Fortunately, incidents such as these are rare at our university. | |
"However, Middlesex University takes a very serious line to violence on campus and any students found to be involved will be removed immediately." | |
