A man who was on trial for child sex offences has been found dead in the River Orwell.

The body of Ian Durrands, 53, of Cage Lane, Felixstowe, was found by the Orwell Bridge south of Ipswich.

He was facing 10 charges including sexual assaults on a child under 13 and making and distributing indecent images of children, all of which he denied.
