A 39-year-old man charged with murder has been remanded in custody at Belfast Magistrates Court. | |
Mark John Rush, of no fixed abode, is accused of killing Robert Hillen, 56, who died after being attacked in Belfast city centre last Saturday. | |
A detective told the court he could connect Mr Rush to the charges. | |
The officer agreed with a defence lawyer that there were no serious or significant visible or external injuries on the victim. | |
The accused was remanded in custody until 6 October. | |
Mr Hillen, who was assaulted outside the Ulster Hall on Bedford Street, died in hospital in Belfast on Wednesday evening. |
