Bafta Cymru awards ceremony held in Cardiff Stars arrive for Bafta Cymru awards in Cardiff

The 23rd annual British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Cymru awards are taking place in Cardiff on Sunday evening. Stars of TV and film are at the Bafta Cymru awards taking place at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
Hosted at the Wales Millennium Centre, there are 28 categories being contested. Cardiff-born BBC journalist Jeremy Bowen who won the Sian Phillips Award for his reporting from war zones was given a standing ovation as he accepted the prize.
Among the early arrivals were former athlete Jamie Baulch, broadcaster Iolo Williams and actress Nerys Evans. Twenty eight categories are being contested.
One winner already announced is Cardiff-born BBC journalist Jeremy Bowen. Jamie Baulch, Iolo Williams and Nerys Evans, Katherine Jenkins and Alex Jones are among the stars at the event.
He will be presented with the Sian Phillips Award for his years of reporting from war zones.
