"Distraught"
BBC Radio Foyle reporter, Gerry Bradley, has been to the scene.
"It's in an area called Churchtown, about half a mile outside Carndonagh, and you can see the garda [police] cordons at a large double-fronted house.
"People have been coming and going all morning, which I presume to be a mix of family and perhaps members of the forensic teams.
"These deaths have caused great shock in a close-knit community," he said.
"Local people have told me they are distraught."
