A yellow severe weather warning is in force for Wales. At one stage more than 400 homes in south, mid and west Wales were without power, but the majority have now had their electricity restored.
Around 140 homes in south, mid and west Wales remain without power, down from over 400 earlier on Tuesday. Some Holyhead to Dublin ferries have been cancelled and the conditions caused a number of road blockages.
