Briton arrested by Kenyan police

A 31-year-old British man has been held by Kenyan police, according to the British High Commission.

The man, Graham Andrew Adams, also known as Ahmed Khalid Ibrahim, was arrested on 11 December.

The high commission said it has been granted consular access to Mr Adams, who is being held in Nairobi.

The BBC's Adam Mynott said the Briton is being held in relation with immigration offences and it is thought he will be deported by Thursday.
