Youths charged over stab murder

Two teenagers have been charged with murdering a 17-year-old youth who was stabbed to death at a railway station.

Ahmed Hassan, 17, from Batley, was attacked close to the entrance Dewsbury station in West Yorkshire on Saturday afternoon.

He died later in hospital and post-mortem tests found the cause of death to be a stab wound to the back.

Two male youths aged 18 and 17 are due to appear at Batley Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

A 19-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder has been released without charge.
