A man has died and three people are critically ill following a two-vehicle collision near Carryduff, County Down. A man has died and three other people have been critically injured after a car being chased by police crashed into another vehicle in County Down.
It is believed the police may have been in pursuit of one of the cars before the crash, which happened on Saintfield Road at about 20:40 BST on Thursday. Police had been in pursuit of a Jaguar, which then collided with a Volkswagen on the Saintfield Road, near Carryduff, on Thursday night.

A spokesman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said the police ombudsman's office has been informed of the incident. The crash, which happened at about 20:40 BST, is being investigated by the police ombudsman.
The Saintfield Road, which had been closed overnight between Manse Road and Ivanhoe Avenue, has now reopened. The man who died was travelling in the Jaguar, along with two of those who have been critically injured.
The other critically injured person was travelling in the Volkswagen.
