Jordan Brennan death: Boy, 16, charged with murder

A teenager has been charged with murder over the death of a 17-year-old boy who was attacked outside a Manchester shop.

Jordan Brennan was assaulted as he left a shop on Hyde Road, Gorton, at about 19:30 BST on 10 October.

Emergency services were called to his home the following morning after he was found unconscious in bed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at Manchester Youth Court on Thursday.
