Det Ch Insp Phil Jones said: "There are a couple of vehicles that are of interest to us. | |
"One is a light-coloured three-door hatchback which potentially has a large stripe on the roof that was seen around 8.35pm yesterday evening. | |
"A call has [also] been received by us detailing a dark-coloured Range Rover-type vehicle on a '61 plate that again was driving through Cole Road at speed at around the relevant time. | |
"We are interested to locate both the drivers of those vehicles in order to establish whether they were involved or have got some important information for us." | |
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said people would "be aware" of damage caused to the vehicle involved. | |
