A youth aged 17 and an 18-year-old man have been arrested after a four-week-old girl had a kitchen knife held to her neck. Two teenagers have been arrested after a four-week-old girl had a kitchen knife held to her neck.
The baby had been in a flat in Grangetown, Cardiff when it was burgled and her 25-year-old mother forced to hand over £20 and some US dollars. Police said the two, both from Cardiff - an 18-year-old from Ely, and a 17-year-old from Grangetown - were in custody at a city police station.
Police said the mother had suffered "horrendous fear" during a "nasty" crime at around 1830 GMT on Sunday. The baby was in a flat in Grangetown during a burglary on Sunday evening.
A second flat nearby was also burgled, Police are appealing for information. Police said the 25-year-old mother suffered "horrendous fear" during a "nasty" crime when she was forced to hand over £20 and some US dollars.
