Nanny charged with baby's murder

A nanny has been charged with the murder of a 13-month-old baby boy in south Lancashire.

Linda Wise, 46, of Gaerwen, Anglesey, is accused of murdering Isaac Rowlinson, who died on 23 July.

She was originally charged with two counts of assaulting the baby at Penwortham, near Preston, between August and September last year.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said she was due to appear before Preston Crown Court on Monday.
