Ten arrests have been made four months after violence at a match between Carlisle United and Newcastle United.

The men - all from the Newcastle area - have been arrested for public order offences and released on bail until January, Cumbria Police said.

The trouble started in a pub on the day of the pre-season game at Carlisle's Brunton Park ground on 21 July.

Last year, four arrests were made following problems at a friendly game between Carlisle United and Sunderland.
