Organisers said they would not have full details of the show until next summer but they expected to sell out long before then. Performers already confirmed include dancers from Canada, an all girl drill team from New Zealand and the massed pipes and drums of various regiments. Postal and internet bookings for the event begin on Monday. Telephone and counter bookings will be taken from the middle of the month. At this year's 58th Edinburgh Military Tattoo, held on Edinburgh Castle's Esplanade in August, 500 musicians, 200 dancers, 35 motorcyclists and 30 horses performed. Tickets for the event, which runs for three-weeks, sold out in January - seven months before the first show. |
