Three people have been killed in separate road accidents in Northern Ireland. Five people have been killed on Northern Ireland's roads within the space of 24 hours.

The victims were a 45-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman. Another man is seriously ill in hospital. In Londonderry, a man and a woman were killed in a crash on the Culmore Road at about 0920 GMT.
Another person has been taken to hospital suffering from shock.
The Culmore Road is closed to traffic close to Thornhill College and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
